A Shared Vision
In collaboration with the Pawnee Nation of Oklahoma, Stronghold Construction and Green Couch Design was awarded a series of civic and community development projects focused on modernization and long-term impact. These efforts extend beyond individual buildings—they represent strategic investments in infrastructure, sovereignty, and cultural continuity.

The former Pawnee Nation Courthouse, once central to civic life, has been re-envisioned as a modern Community Resource Center—a project that blends preservation with purpose.
Courtroom Interior REFRESH
Among the Pawnee Nation’s recent facility improvements, Green Couch Design also updated the existing courtroom that was relocated to the Pawnee Police Department—introducing modern finishes, lighting, and technology while maintaining its civic integrity.

Our team was tasked with thoughtfully renovating and updating the historic courthouse, a landmark structure of cultural and community significance.

Installing new, energy-efficient windows and doors suited for historic applications
Constructing accessible concrete walkways and compliant entry paths
Preserving original architectural character while enhancing long-term performance and usability
